« Should have bought it sooner. »

I waited a while to replace the cutter block on my razor because I am a cheapskate. After replacing it, the shave became much more comfortable. I forgot how nice the razor was when I bought it. Replace the cutter block, you will notice the difference!

« The original lasted for 2 years, but this one 3 months »

I bought the pack on amazon from this vendor for my 8985. When installed, it didn't seem to fit perfectly as the original one. When shaving, you can tell it is not close to the skin as before.

I shave everyday. 3 months later, some areas of my neck I shave started to feel itchy and painful at times, esp. when shaving. After awhile, I notice that the foil has 2 holes on it. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN FOR ONLY 3 MONTHS?

I still miss the original one comes w/ the shaver, close, smooth and lasted for 2 years.

I bought this pack for the price but now I am going to thrown in 50% more to get it in store. Let's see how it goes.

The replacement parts did make the shaver work like new again and were very easy to install. I avoid the cleaner solution replacement packs as they are a waste of money when you can just get isopropyl alcohol and clean the parts manually. The shaver works fine without incessant cleaning. Just remember, the foil and cutter are not really an option with this shaver; my foil tore apart and rendered the shaver useless (dangerous) until I got the new parts. Have a backup!
