« the best facial cleanser i've ever found »

i was introduced to this product about 12-15 years ago. can't imagine a clean, oil free/acne free face without it. the only time this product doesn't work by itself is when the mother-in-law causes the stress based acne flare ups. enough about the wench, this is a great product that has kept my face free of acne for over a decade. too bad it's not available through most supermarkets/pharmacy chains anymore. btw - guys, don't be fooled by the neutrogena equivalents for guys - they use half the salicylic acid in the "mens" stuff as they do the "womens" stuff. man up and buy the girlie goods - they finally have the equivalent to that deodorant for facial cleanser -> strong enough for a man but made for a woman. 'nuff said.

You'd think finding a liquid in a pump bottle to wash your face with would be the easiest thing to find, right? What with hundreds of available products in this category. Wrong!

There are 3 things I require in a liquid facial cleanser: 1)No perfume or scent, 2)non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores), 3)cleans well.

After trying dozens of other products that claimed to do these things - but didn't - I found Liquid Neutrogena. Problem solved! I was thrilled. Since then, I'd been using Liquid Neutrogena for many years. AN then teh company goes and discontinues it! Argh! After the local walmarts and pharmacies ran out of stock, I tried many other products, but nothing compares. So I've decided to buy a full case very soon from a US merchant before inventories are depleted. That's how much I like this product.

I am allergic to fragrance. It's amazing how many products that claim to be perfume free or fragrance free are actually not! Or smell horrible. This product truly is perfume free. I've never reacted to it. It does have a scent, but it's natural and pleasant. If you've used the Neutrogena clear bar of "soap" before, this is almost exactly the same thing - except in liquid form.

Soap dries my skin out way too much. I use soap on my body - but not on my face. Liquid Neutrogena doesn't clog pores and actually CLEANS well. When you wash your face with this product, it feels far cleaner than when using soap. The only other liquids I've used that are fregrance free and non-comedogenic do NOT clean deeply enough. They are like lotions - not soap.

Even the other Neutrogena products I tried had fragrances or were too strong. How they call them hypo-allergenic when they are perfumed is beyond me.

Great product, Neutrogena! Why oh why did you kill it?

« It will burn your face! »

I used the Rapid Clear line for a few days and my face was burned. My face turned all red, swollen, puffy, and itchy. It's been a week since I stopped using it, and the swelling has only gone down a little. I will never buy another Neutrogena product, again. They are dangerous!!!! And, they will ruin your skin like it ruined mine!!!! I look like a burn victim.

Great for people with sensitive skin or prone to acne. I began using neutrogena as a teenager 25 years ago. It helped clear up teen acne & has kept my skin free of razor burn in more recent years.

daughter of Richard Trezevant- After thanksgiving of last year I began breaking out in horrible acne for some reason I dont know; maybe it was greesy food I was eating or the cetaphil I was using that wasnt strong enough for my face. I finally decided enough was enough and I found this neutrogena. I had used it before but I completely forgot how it exsisted. Ive been using it ever since and it has really helped; now my face is mostly just light scarring. My only concern though is doesnt help me when Im on my period. I start breakout out really badly especially around my chin and my lips.
